Robyn Hook is an award-winning Christian romance writer. Her first two novels are contemporary inspirational romances, and her third is a contemporary Christmas short novel. She’s also drafting other romances including a Regency historical, cozy-mystery, suspense, and a YA fairy tale series.
She earned a Master’s Degree in Clinical Psychology and worked as a counselor and university administrator before answering the call to be a work-at-home mom-writer. Her blog was inspired by her battle with breast cancer, but has since become a platform to encourage other writers and Christians—she invites you to stay awhile and browse past entries. Robyn and her husband live in Northwest Arkansas with their three young boys and two rescue dogs. She’s a member of American Christian Fiction Writers and President of the newly formed ACFW NW AR chapter.

I’m glad you’re here! This was my family a few months before my breast cancer diagnosis in 2014. If only I could go back in time and talk to that girl! I’d tell her to hold on tight to the Lord because He’s about to answer your plea to increase your faith, trust in Him, love for others, and decrease your evil pride (in a BIG way).
This trial reminded me of the fragile and precious nature of life. We are a mist, a breath, a wave, a flower—here for a little while then vanishes. It is my hope that you will learn as I have to appreciate what the Lord is teaching you each day.
I pray my fruit pleases God and reading my work blesses you!
